Sweet (art Deco) Dreams
We have just produced a lovely Master Bedroom Make over which encompassed the removal of the dated fitted wardrobes and dresser, laminated flooring.
The house, although is post war, lends itself to the Art Deco period and the owners are in the process of modernising the property while adding in Art Deco features and flavours.
Mixed into that brief is that the owners wanted to create hotel chic by adding in some wow features.
In the planning stages, we created a 2 step lower ceiling with L.E.D. light well along with drop pendents and power sockets at the same height at the bedside cabinets for easy tablet and phone charging.
The introduction of a art deco styled four poster bed along with the creation of a bespoke matching ledge added to the drama of the room.
Other features included new skirting boards with are all stained and french polished along with a matching door to compliment the window ledge and bed.
The entire project included other hidden features like new electrics throughout, new plumbing and radiators and a complimentary fitted wardrobe. This is the first of many projects with this client. Follow us as the project unfolds.
