Adding Character

As part of phased plan of change for the main garden, the owner wanted to add hard landscaped features. Originally, there was only going to be 1 pagoda, but some decorative screens were added on the post to allow for climbing plants to crawl up.

To mirror the pagoda, on the opposite wall, wooden frames were made and fitted to the wall. The gap generated between the wall and decorative panels allows for plants to grow up and through the spaces.
After constructing the initial pagoda, the garden was re-landscaped and re-turfed, which will be covered in a separate blog article. Post re-turfing, the pagoda had a side part added to form a 'L' shaped screen.
