Repurposing Materials
One of our newest (elderly) clients required 3 matching planters but raised up enough so that they would not have to bend over when pruning.
From reclaimed decking boards and balustrade timbers, these lined planters were created.The planters once built were ceocoted on the inside and then lined with a thick PVC covering and folded so that inside was fully tanked.
Drainage holes were added to allow for excess water to seep away but without affecting the inner timbers. The outside was stained with a yellow stain and marine varnish added.
